—  Start by standing vertical with legs shoulder breadth separately. Clasp each arm directly down in front of any of your leg. Make fists with your hands, while your thumbs must face your thighs.

—  Glide your right leg alongside the floor heading on right side , bending your left knee and upper left leg do a half squat. Tug your arms up by winding your elbows. Rest when your arm gets to shoulder height, your knuckles of each hand should or must be facing each other. Right after your arms reaches your shoulder's height your right leg must stop its sliding at the same time.

—  Get your right leg back to the starting pose, slide it slowly down the floor and budge your arms back to its beginning pose as in on the first step.

—  Crook your right leg up until your right foot gets to the height of your left knee and let it down back to the floor. Lift your arms the way you did in the second Step when you lift your right leg, and drop your arms as you take your leg back down to the floor.

—  Do the second Step down to the fourth on your left side, upon doing the said steps, you've now accomplished the slip and slide on both the right and left sides.

—  Perform again the slip and slide on your right side then back to the left side for more than a few times repeatedly.

While hip hop's beginnings are basically from the "street," you could also learn its movements by simulation or by discovering by yourself.
